This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) transparently describes how we collect, use, share, store, and delete your personal data when you interact with FGM’s webinar page (“Page”) on Dental Tribune (https://fgmdentalgroupcampus.com).

1. Key Definitions

Data Processing Agents: The Controller and the Processor.

Brazilian National Data Protection Authority (ANPD): A regulatory body with special legal status, technical and decision-making autonomy, its own assets, and headquartered in the Federal District, responsible for overseeing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with Law No. 13.709, of August 14, 2018 (LGPD), throughout the national territory.

International Data Collection: A situation in which data is initially collected outside of Brazil by a foreign legal entity and later transferred to Brazil, as defined by ANPD Resolution No. 19/2024.

Controller: A natural or legal person, under public or private law, responsible for making decisions regarding the processing of personal data.

Cookies: Files installed on a user’s device that allow the collection of certain information, including personal data in some cases, for various purposes.

Personal Data: Information related to an identified or identifiable natural person.

Sensitive Personal Data: Personal data concerning racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, political opinions, trade union membership, or membership in religious, philosophical or political organizations, as well as data concerning health or sexual life, genetic or biometric data, when linked to a natural person.

Data Protection Officer (DPO): The individual appointed by the controller and processor to act as a communication channel between the controller, data subjects, and the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

Processor: A natural or legal person, under public or private law, who processes personal data on behalf of the controller.

Sub-Processor: A third party engaged by the Processor to assist in the processing of personal data, under the same security and confidentiality obligations.

Data Subject: The natural person to whom the personal data being processed refers.

International Data Transfer: The transfer of personal data to a foreign country or international organization of which the country is a member.

2. Data Subject Rights

You have rights over your personal information, which allow you greater control and transparency over how your data is processed. At any time and free of charge, you may:

  1. Confirm whether we process your personal data.
  2. Access the personal data we hold about you.
  3. Request the correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data.
  4. Request anonymization, blocking, or deletion of your data.
  5. Withdraw consent where the processing is based on your authorization.
  6. Request data portability.
  7. Object to the processing of your data if it does not comply with applicable law (LGPD).
  8. Request information about the sharing of your data.
  9. Request a review of decisions made solely through automated processing.

3. What Personal Data We Process and for What Purpose

During your interaction with this Page, we may collect and process personal data for different purposes, always in accordance with the principles of Privacy by Design. We collect only the data strictly necessary to fulfill legitimate purposes.

We collect personal data proportionally to the informed purposes. Data may be collected directly from you, automatically through the systems and technologies we use, or via authorized third parties, in the following contexts:

Direct Collection
Occurs when you actively provide your data by:

  • Filling out webinar registration forms on this Page.
  • Creating a username and password to access the platform.
  • Requesting support or assistance.
  • Participating in live sessions, submitting questions or comments.
  • Interacting with our communication channels (email, chat, phone, social media).

Automatic Collection
Certain data may be automatically collected when you access the platform, such as:

  • Date and time of access (attendance records).

Third-Party Collection
We may receive personal data through the Dental Tribune platform and its technical sub-processors:

  • Hosting, streaming, and email delivery systems.
  • Interaction records captured during webinars (audio, video, chat).
  • Information transmitted via forms and API integrations with the platform.

We ensure that all third parties involved are contractually bound to comply with applicable data protection laws and maintain appropriate information security standards.

We never sell your personal data. Sharing only occurs when there is a legal basis and a specific purpose. All third parties receiving your data must adhere to contractual obligations regarding security, confidentiality, and data protection.

5. International Data Transfer

Some of the services used to enable FGM’s webinars operate outside Brazilian territory. As a result, your personal data may be processed or stored on servers located abroad, especially in Germany, Luxembourg, and the United States.

This data flow often qualifies as international data collection, as defined by ANPD Resolution No. 19/2024 — meaning the data is initially collected outside Brazil by foreign service providers (such as Dental Tribune) and subsequently shared with FGM.

Whenever data is transferred from Brazil to other countries, we implement appropriate safeguards to ensure your data is protected regardless of storage location. If you have questions about the countries involved or the protection mechanisms applied, please contact our Data Protection Officer (DPO) using the channels provided.

6. How We Protect Your Data

The security of your information is a priority for us. We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, or any other form of improper or unlawful processing.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet or method of information storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot ensure or guarantee the absolute security of any information you transmit to us.

We kindly ask that you help us stay secure by implementing your own security controls, such as using a strong password and not sharing your credentials with others.

7. Data Retention

Your personal data is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this notice, or as required by legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations.

The retention period may vary depending on the nature of the data and its intended purpose. After the applicable period ends, data is securely deleted or anonymized, unless a legal obligation requires its retention. Below are the main retention scenarios:

Important: Even after a deletion request, some data may be retained to comply with legal obligations or for defense in judicial or administrative proceedings, in accordance with legally established timeframes.

8. Changes to this Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice may be updated periodically, especially due to:

  • Changes in applicable legislation.
  • Significant changes in our operations or the systems used to process personal data.
  • Inclusion of new partners, providers, or processing purposes.

Important: We recommend that you review this notice regularly to check for updates. When necessary, we may request renewed consent or acceptance.
